An Overview of Novari ATC WTIS Reporting Logic
The following is a general overview of the Novari ATC procedure/diagnosis WTIS mapping that occurs when adding or editing a patient case. It does not cover all conditions.
Condition 1
If the provider is set up with no WTIS Services, the case is not reported.
For example, none of the procedures in gastroenterology are reportable.
o There is no WTIS Gastro service either for adult or paediatrics so there would never be a provider who is mapped to services that would make it reportable thus it would never report.
None of the procedures are set up to be reportable in non-reportable services - they are ALWAYS set to Non-reportable under WTIS reporting
Condition 2
If the case is being done in a non-reportable care venue, the case is not reported.
Condition 3
If the primary procedure is non-reportable but the secondary procedure is reportable, the case is not reportable.
Condition 4
If the provider is reportable to only oncology and the procedure is set up as non-reportable but the case is being done in a reportable care venue and is given a diagnosis set up as Oncology, this will report to WTIS as the diagnosis trumps the procedure.
Example
The following is an example (for illustrative purposes only) of the reportable vs non-reportable logic and the combinations of site, service, diagnosis, procedure, provider and patient age that may determine WTIS reportability.
